Child attendance to an early childhood program is vital to the growth and development of the child attending the program. The following are the attendance requirements CCS promotes:
Child attendance should be reported daily with CCAA card (non-reported attendance will count as absence).
Child should have fewer than 5 consecutive absences during the month.
Child should have fewer than 10 total absences during the month.
If child exceeds 40 total absences during the most recent eligibility period, the child will not be eligible for care for the next eligibility redetermination and will not be eligible to reapply for 60 days.
At Child Care Services we keep the best interest of families in mind. If for some reason your child cannot meet the attendance standards listed above, contact our office so we can help you with further information and resources.
