General Event Volunteer: This type of volunteer is flexible and willing to help as needed at one of our event stations such as the Navigator Booth, Snack Bar, Exhibitor Hospitality, Check-In, etc.
Mock Interviewer:Our interviewers will be conducting up to 15-minute interviews with students. Sample interview questions and scoring rubric are provided. The scoring rubric will be mailed to the student post-event. Anyone can conduct mock interviews, but we strongly prefer those with HR and/or interviewing experience!
Workforce Readiness Room Activities: We have a room dedicated to activities that help students develop their workforce readiness skills. If you have a skill or area of expertise that you would like to showcase, we need YOU as a Workforce Readiness volunteer! Examples of workforce readiness room activities are How To Tie A Tie, Resume Building, Interview Tips and Tricks, Dining Etiquette, Budgeting, W-9, I-9 & Other Tax Information, etc. Any skill or knowledge you think a student should have before graduating high school is welcome in the Workforce Readiness Room!
"It's going to take a VILLAGE to build the
Workforce of Tomorrow!" -- we REALLY mean that!
