Connecting & Convening

Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas prioritizes meaningful partnerships with and among cross-sector stakeholders developing and sustaining quality education and career pathways. As a trusted convener/facilitator and respected source of labor market data/workforce insights, WFSWCT informs decision-making and connects partners around shared strategies in pathway development. Staff are frequently convening with partners in industry, education, economic development, community development, and other sectors to cultivate relationships, align education and career pathway supports, and forge connections across sectors. Opportunities are available throughout the year to engage with various partners, events, and activities.

Pathways Leadership Team

Central to these efforts is the Pathways Leadership Team, a cross-sector group convened by Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas to guide the development and implementation of education and career pathway supports. The broad representation of various sectors ensures alignment with the diverse needs of West Central Texas and fosters collaboration across sectors. Team members serve as liaisons to their sectors, ensuring sustained engagement and effective communication. Pathways Leadership Team members have the responsibility for both attending and supporting ongoing meetings, and for serving as the primary liaisons to their sectors, reporting back through existing and new venues. Member organizations have the responsibility to ensure sustained representation on the Pathways Leadership Team. Together with the Pathways Leadership Team and cross-sector partners, Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas is dedicated to transforming the regional workforce system to create a thriving future for all residents of West Central Texas.
