The City of Brownwood is currently seeking a Full-Time Building Official I. Candidate will be responsible for issuing permits and performing inspections of buildings and building systems to include structural, plumbing, electrical and mechanical system installations to assure compliance with laws, regulations and codes. Valid Texas Driver License. Possession of Texas Plumbing Inspector License or be able to obtain Plumbing Inspectors License within 18 months of hire.
