The Ballinger Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. This position is assigned to patrol duty and works under the supervision of a Patrol Sergeant and the Chief of Police. Performs general duty police work in protecting and serving the community and properly enforcing laws and ordinances. Compensation/benefits: Starting salary depending on experience, Employer-funded health, dental, and vision insurance, TMRS retirement, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, Overtime, Certificate pay, take home patrol unit (within the City of Ballinger). Must hold a valid TCOLE Peace Officer License. Must live within the City of Ballinger, Yearly pay is $33,280.
