Grande Communications is currently searching for a Senior Manager of Field Operations in our Brownwood, Texas market. This position is responsible for good engineering practices to ensure a positive customer experience in the installation, service, and disconnection of Grande’s broadband services. Ensures that the delivery platforms operate in the most efficient manner possible to maintain excellent quality and in a safe working environment and expand services through the plant.
In this position, your primary responsibilities include:
- Manages the activities of the technical operations department - including installation, service, disconnections, upgrades, and downgrades of telephone, cable, and HSD customers. Residential and commercial are both applicable.
- Works cooperatively with other internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction. Other departments include, but are not limited to, sales, construction, dispatch, warehouse management, human resources, and finance.
- Interview, hire, and train all technical personnel and contractors to ensure consistent fulfillment at exceptional standards. Performs performance evaluations in compliance with Grande's policies.
- Enforces and informs all direct reports on the Grande Safety policy to ensure employees complete knowledge of company policy and our dedication to their personal safety.
- Audits the service plant as needed to ensure all customer connections are authorized. Ensures system is maintained from origination to termination
- Ensures that system complies with operation standards mandated by the FCC, including proper testing, documentation, and reporting. Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations. Ensures the system meets all PUC requirements.
- Monitors and controls the operations capital and expenses to budget.
