City And Rural Rides is accepting applications for full time Drivers to work in Eastland County.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive vehicles to provide demand response curb to curb transportation to the residents of its service area with door-to-door service available for elderly and disabled passengers upon request and determination of need.
- Enter and exit vehicles at each stop to assist or offer assistance to customers.
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure that vehicles are in good operating conditions at all times.
- Report problems found during daily vehicle inspection to dispatch.
- To dispatch and supervisor during operation of vehicle.
- Submit purchase requisition for needed repairs on agency vehicles.
- Report to assigned work location to start and end shift.
- Daily driver manifests and interoffice correspondence are received by email.
- Abide by daily schedule.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have or be willing to obtain a defensive driving certification and CPR/first aid certification.
- CDL with passenger endorsement preferred, but not required.
