Jumps & Tents for Events is looking for a Tent Division Assistant Manager in Abilene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Planning: Create efficient delivery routes for our tent rentals to maximize time and resources.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that adequate stock is available for customer orders.
- Personnel Management: Hire, train, and manage team members. Handle staffing needs, including hiring and termination.
- Tent Installations: Oversee and setup installation of tents at event locations, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers, provide information, and address inquiries and concerns.
- Driving and Lifting: Operate trailers for deliveries and assist with heavy lifting when needed.
- Provide maintenance to trucks and trailers with maintenance logs.
- Organization Skills: Maintain a well-organized and efficient tent rental operation.
- Leadership: Lead by example, motivate the team, and promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate trailers and perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Prior experience in event equipment rental or related field is a plus.
