Science Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Provides students with appropriate educational activities and experiences that enable them to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth
• Help students develop the skills necessary to be productive members of society
• Maintain classroom discipline, documenting attendance and monitoring the academic progress of each student assigned to his or her classroom

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree required in the subject area of instruction OR
• Bachelor's Degree with a minor (or the equivalent of a minor) in the subject area of instruction OR
• Bachelor's Degree and passed the TExES/ExCET test in the subject area OR

Salary:

• Degree Teacher: $42,000 to $50,000 per year
• Certified Teacher: $47,250 - $55,250 per year
• Annually salary is calculated at a prorated rate from effective date of hire
