QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current registered nursing license with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Job Knowledge: Maintain current BLS. ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
•  Must complete 20 hours of continuing education a year.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Directs nursing service activities of a single unit for an assigned shift.
• Guided by the standards for performance of Nursing Care, the charge nurse will coordinate patient care; assist with problem-solving, teaching and evaluating staff members on assigned shift.
• Will provide care for patients in various age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics

Salary $27.60-$49.57
