Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment and machinery is in good working condition. Also responsible for making repairs and performing preventative maintenance while following all company policies & processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on the machinery and building, as needed
- Must know and understand the emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure
- Repair equipment as needed due to breakdowns
- Responsible for overseeing maintenance of the facility and all equipment.
- Must work closely with production to ensure that all product is produced in a timely manner with the highest food safety and quality standards
- Proficient in electrical and mechanical work and troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot all motor controls such as HMI's and PLC's.
- Ability to diagnose automation components such as HMI, PLCs, I/O, VFDs
- Be able to identify communication systems on automation devices.
- Ability to do basic programming of PLC's
- Ability to design and implement ideas and innovations to successful projects to increase equipment efficacy, safety, and reliability
- Sanitary welding a plus but not a requirement
Pay:
- $33.00-35.00/hour (Depends on Experience)
