HOUSEKEEPER/JANITOR
Xencom Facility Management is hiring for a housekeeper/janitor to support Western Texas College
Available Shift: Sunday-Thursday 10PM to 6AM
Pay Rate: $10.50 an hour
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean/maintain floors (vacuum, mop, carpet spotting).
Clean/maintain surface areas (dust, sanitize, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing).
Remove waste (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas).
Use cleaning chemicals safely and adhere to all safety precautions when mixing cleaning solutions.
Safely operate floor equipment (scrubbers).
• Pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
• Lift of up to 50 pounds repeatedly, bend, reach, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Safe use and adhere to all safety precautions when mixing chemicals and using floor equipment.
• Report equipment/cleaning product needs, damages and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
• Represent facility in a positive manner; able to follow oral instructions, pleasant, tactful, courteous, and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, customers, security and management.
• Follow assigned schedules for all areas of the retail center.
• Other General Cleaning duties as needed
