When it comes to paying for your education, you have more options than you may think. The government annually provides millions of dollars in financial aid, both grants and loans, to students who qualify. Many schools also provide institutional aid, which is also based on your FAFSA. Scholarships
College scholarships come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and for a variety of reasons. You can earn scholarships for academics, athletics, community service, and even hobbies. Colleges, along with businesses, community organizations, religious organizations, and even the military, provide scholarships to students for college. To find out who is offering scholarships in your area, talk to your school counselor.

Workforce Solutions awards financial aid packages to assist job seekers in paying for all or a portion of tuition and training related costs in over 40 different training programs throughout a 19-county region. These awards are available for pre-selected programs that provide job seekers with the skills necessary to gain employment in occupations that have been identified as high demand in our area such as nurses, truck drivers, welders, HVAC technicians and mechanics, and more!
To apply for a financial aid scholarship, please complete the Application for Services and the Scholarship Application – Financial Aid Addendum using our online or downloadable forms. An Application for Services must be submitted prior to completing the Scholarship Application.
